This week we are pleased to announce the new range of industrial media converters available from Omnitron Systems. The Industrial media converters are designed specifically for use in extreme temperatures, providing reliable conversion from copper to fibre, fibre to fibre and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Application examples include deployments in street furniture. These can be for multimode to singlemode conversion to overcome distance limitations as well as PoE CCTV or outdoor Wi-Fi and DAS in a daisy chain. For military applications, the Industrial miConverters are small and lightweight with a low power consumption ideal of field deployments.
