W.AG FUNKTION+DESIGN GMBH

W.AG Funktion + Design GmbH, based in Geisa, Germany, was founded in 1992 and currently has 180 employees. Bertram Göb is the managing director. W.AG started out initially as a supplier of technical injection moulding components, but soon went on to develop its own range of cases and containers. The company's major breakthrough happened in 1997 with the TEKNO plastic case. Building on this success, W.AG developed numerous other case, box and containers series in the following years, such as the small product packaging SWING, the heavy-duty case HEAVY, the JAZZ model range, the slim plastic case BEAT and the highly functional design case TWIST. Alongside developing cases and boxes and continuously expanding into injection moulding and tool manufacturing, the company built up competencies in areas of foam processing and printing technology.
